Toys for travel

I don't know about you, but I like to keep some of my routines even when I am traveling. Every summer I take some vacation time and travel to meet family and friends – but I still like to play with myself during those days. The problem is, I can't take my dolls or my trusted masturbation sleeves on my trips. I don't have the privacy to use them, dry them properly, and more important, some family members would make a big issue of a stupid masturbation toy (I have a very “traditional” family).

So, if I can't carry my ladies or my favorite toys on the road, what do I do? Elementary, my dear reader: I carry the perfect toys for travel. These travel toys must have some ideal features, which are:

  1. Compact size. The toys I take on trips must be relatively small – between 3 and 5 inches long and smaller than 2 inches wide. They need to be this small to fit inside my toiletries bag with my toothbrush, shaving cream and other stuff I normally carry on my “personal use” little bag.
  2. Discrete. I avoid passing sex toys through TSA (I always place them in my checked bag), but in case I need to pass them in my carry on, I want them to be discrete. The last thing I want in the TSA line at the airport is a jackass making $10 per hour handling something I had fucked a few days before. Besides the TSA, I don't want prying eyes on the hotel or wherever I am staying to realize right away that I am using a sex toy. Call me a prude, but I keep my private shit private.
  3. Cheap. I normally don't leave anything behind, but I don't want to curse all the way back home if a $70 Fleshlight or a $100 Tenga gets lost, forgotten, or stolen. The perfect toy would be missed if lost, but not because of the replacement value.
  4. Easy to clean and dry. When traveling, I like toys to be easy to clean with running water and to be dried fast. On the road, I don't have the access to corn starch, special liquids, or other detergents to sanitize my toys. I don't have the privacy to leave a sleeve to dry overnight on the bathroom, or hang it to air dry – so they better clean fast with running water, some regular soap, and be able to pat dry with a towel or paper towel.
  5. Must be good. Hey, cheap and small doesn't mean the toy should be crap. For me to take a toy on the road, it must give good sensations, taking me to orgasm without a struggle and at least endure three full sessions.

Now, for this summer I had been already on the road for two weeks – one in a hotel, one in a relative's house – so before leaving I chose four toys from Kuudom that met the features I mentioned above. The selected toys were:

  • Groomin Wild Touch – A $6 toy available at Toy Demon, this toy seems to compete with the Tenga Eggs, but the Groomin has a more discrete case that can easily pass as a travel size cream container. The Wild Touch promises intensity with a texture looking like shark teeth and slightly hard material.
  • Groomin Mild Touch – Another $6 toy available from Toy Demon, this version promises a gentle experience with a texture looking like flower petals and a very soft material.
  • Trail Rocky – This $6 toy looks like a medieval torture device with rows of triangular teeth on both sides of the sleeve. It is open ended, so I assume it can be used either as a masturbation toy or a sensation enhancer during intercourse.
  • Trail Bishop – This toy looks like a pair of black donuts, but the interior hides a texture full of rounded nubs in rows, promising long sessions.

In addition to these four toys, I am carrying two “back-up” toys: The HEPS Fantastic and the HEPS H5
  • HEPS Fantastic – Not cheap ($80), but since I will stay with my parents for at least three weeks, this toy is perfect for some late night sessions. Small, easy to clean, and really, really good, it promises a few pleasurable nights while the old folks are sleeping in the room next door.
  • HEPS H5 – A replacement sleeve for the HEPS system, this simpler but tighter mouth should give more intensity than the Fantastic while keeping all the advantages of a travel toy.

I will be posting my reviews for these toys and how they perform on the road through August...

RPP 3.5: Vulcan WET Vagina (RPP #109)

I have already written about the Vulcan RIPE Vagina, which surprised me with how good it felt for a toy with a price below $20. Today is the turn for another product from the economy Vulcan series: The WET Vagina.

The Ripe surprised me - and the Wet was even even better! The Wet has the same inner texture that the Vulcan Ripe - ribbed interior with bumps - but the material on the Wet is softer than the one used on the Ripe. This additional softness makes the Wet feel more natural and even better for those lazy Sunday morning sessions.

Like the Ripe, the Vulcan Wet is easy to clean - just flush under running water and use some antibacterial soap to clean.

Verdict: The Vulcan Wet Vagina is a cheap toy that is much, much better than expected. For what you expect to pay for a disposable toy, you get a reusable sleeve that feels good and is easy to hide. Good toy for a beginner or any user on a tight budget.

RPP 3.0 #43: Doc Johnson's Mood Pleaser Beads (RPP #96)

Recently, I read this question in one of the forums I participate: "Why people buy the cheap toys even after trying the expensive ones?". For me, the answer has been always the sensations - I want to experience new sensations and honestly, the expensive toys like the Fleshlights and the meikis often are not that variate. Meikis tend to feel similar after you build a collection, and FLs at times are repetitive, so sometimes when I want new sensations, I would buy a cheap toy to compare.

Well, I saw a special sale from Pink Cherry a few weeks ago and spend a few dollars there. I bought a few to use with my FWB (more on those later), and got a few cheap masturbators from Doc Johnson (a.k.a the masters of UR3). Even when I am not a big fan of UR3, when toys are at $6, I could not help myself!

So, besides a few classic Palm Pals, I also got the collection of a toy I had been looking since its introduction: The Mood Pleasers. It is yet another UR3 small toy (just 4.75 inches long), but it has a more discreet look than the regular pussy palm. Also, the Pleasers are available with four different internal structures: tight smooth, wide ribs, one with massage beads, and one called Zig Zag with elliptical bumps. Each one is expected to give different sensations, so I picked a random one to test and the result is this review for the Mood Pleaser: Beads (MPB from now on).

Is the MPB a good toy for the price? Let see the review to find out!

General Description

Mood Pleaser Beads texture (Pink Cherry)
The Mood Pleaser line is a small size masturbator about 4.75 inches long and 1.25 in diameter. It is made of UR3 material, so be ready for the strong fruity odor common to all UR3 toys.

The exterior of the toy is designed to fit perfectly on your hand, with a wavy shape to help keeping the grip during use. With a frosted white color, the toy looks cool and elegant, like a more expensive toy.

The exterior could look tame and elegant, but the interior does not falls back. With an elegant array of rounded interior bumps covering the interior, you can expect the MPB to be an intense toy. Add the choke point at the entrance and the idea of buying this small toy appears to be a really good one!

Review
Personally, I am not a fan of UR3. The material feels like very muscular flesh (imagine fucking a top level athlete like an Olympic gymnast or runner), and the damned fruity smell often makes me dizzy... but once tamed, these toys can be good. The MPB is a good example.

Once lubed, the MPB is ready to give you an intense ride. The toy has a choke point at the entrance that can be too tight if your little friend is thicker than 1 inch. Good thing this toy is open ended, because you can fuck this thing from the the other end, which is wider and easier to penetrate. Either way, the massage beads will cover the whole surface of whatever part of your penis you push inside. The beads are as intense as the STU, and once you begin to really feel them, you will need all your might to avoid cumming.

The MPB is designed to a stroker, so it really shines on that capacity. Because it is so small, you need fillers to make it usable in most sex dolls like the Meiki Plush Toy for handsfree sessions. I used it with my reliable Love Venus R and the MPB gave me intense orgasms comparable to the ones I get from toys 5 or 6 times more expensive like the FL STU. I have to admit the MPB is that good!

The MPB is an open-ended toy, so cleaning is as easy as placing it under the faucet and allowing water to run through it.

Verdict:
The Mood Pleaser Beads is one of those toys that surprises. It gives an experience similar to the one given by the STU - a toy that costs up to 5 times more. With a regular price of $15, the Mood Pleaser Beads is a good toy for any beginner user or a more experienced user looking for a traveling toy that is easy to hide.

Be aware that the MPB is a small toy, so if you are hung like a horse, this toy could be too tight and too short for you.

FYI:
I used the new Slick Specialist lube for my sessions with the MPB. The Love Venus R doll assisted for the hands-free sessions.
