The RP Project #13: Lady Vortex Fleshlight

When you begin to use male sex toys, one of the best places to get information about them is the vendors' public forum where users share their personal experiences with their toys. For example, both ILF / Fleshligh and Toy Demon have their forums where you can interact with fellow masturbators (Fleshlight forurm, Toy Demon forum). Why I mention this in this entry? Because if it wasn't for the Fleshlight user forum I would never bought the Vortex FL. My first Fleshlight purchase included the now discontinued mini-Vortex and honestly, I hated that texture at the time. Reading the forum let me know that the Vortex texture had a long "break-in" period (meaning I had to use the fucker more to begin to enjoy it). After the 12th use, I really began to enjoy the mini-Vortex, prompting me to finally get the full sized version months ago. Was it a good buy? Lets see...

First Impressions:

The Vortex Fleshlight (Photo property of ILF / Fleshlight)
The vortex is a combo texture were you have more than one thing stimulating your penis. You have both the spiraled sections and the varying diameter canal to squeeze your penis during use. When I looked at it for the first time, it promised an intense experience and with the rating of 4 out of 5 from ILF, I was expecting a different and unique orgasm.

Intensity (5 / 5)
I would say that the Vortex is intense, but not overwhelmingly. It provides immediate feedback - I felt the spirals right away during the first use of this evaluation (I had "broken" the texture months ago), and the canal variation created a subtle suction that was more than pleasurable. The real intensity of this texture is how it keeps you on the edge. During the evaluation sessions, the Vortex kept me in a state of  "almost there" for periods between 10 and 15 minutes, sometimes taking my breath away before a toe clenching orgasm. Orgasms with the Vortex are not earth-shaking or ball-draining, but are good enough to justify a perfect score.

Tightness (4/5)
The Vortex is a perfect texture to penetrate at half-mast. It is tight enough to allow growth but never grips the penis in a way that you feel you are into a vacuum cleaner. If you are looking for constant pressure, this is not a sleeve for you, since the chambers vary in diameter, tightening only in some sections.

Realism (4/5)
The Vortex is probably the most realistic texture from ILF. Depending on the tightness of the end cap and the lube you use, it feels close to either a blow job or as vaginal sex. Lubed and with the end cap fully tightened, it felt very close to vaginal sex - the spirals are less pronounced and the canal variation felt like a vagina contracting on my penis. With the end cap lose 3/4 of the way, the spirals come to life and intensity ramps up, feeling as teeth softly biting. Add a little bit of extra lube at that point and you have a good replica of a blow job.  It feels close enough to get 4 points out of 5.

Versatility (5/5)
The Vortex is a versatile sleeve: it can be used hands free, is a perfect stroker giving a range of realistic sensations, and you can pound it hard either way without problems. You want longer sessions, add a thicker lube (or "over lube") and tighten the end cap all the way. You want intensity, use a thinner lube and use the sleeve without the end cap and you'll be trashing your bed or chair after a few minutes. What else can you ask from an artificial  vagina?

Lubricant use (5/5)
The Vortex retains lube perfectly, especially for short to mid length sessions (20 - 45 minutes). Again, depending on the sensations I wanted to experience, I added more lube to replicate one thing or another but the sleeve was good with the standard original quantity of lube.

Use (4/5)
The only complain I have about the Vortex is the long "break-in" period. As I wrote on the introduction, I hated the mini-Vortex because it didn't feel right the first time I used it - what happened to me with the mini-Vortex had happened to a lot of Fleshlight users with the Vortex. You use it once and you feel frustrated by it - it makes you cum, but there is something missing. You find that "something missing" after a few more uses (twelve uses on my case) and then you realize how good the texture is. The "break" period is different for everyone, but it is at least 5 uses based on the FL forum comments. If the sleeve had a lower "break-in" curve, it would be perfect.

Hygiene (5 / 5)
As most Fleshlights, just place it under the faucet and flush between 30 and 60 seconds on both ends with running water. Not too difficult to clean.

Drying (5/5)
The Vortex dried pretty well overnight. It is good to mention that with the current colder weather, the sleeves takes more to dry, since air is colder and my apartment tends to remain humid during the day. That is until my landlord begins to provide steam later in the season.

Maintenance (5 / 5)
No special maintenance required for long term storage besides some corn starch.

Tear and wear (5/5)
No tear and wear noticed after completing the evaluation periods.

Total score: 47 / 50

If you are considering a "classic" Fleshlight for either yourself or as a gift, the Vortex is a great choice. It is a pleasurable sleeve, versatile, and as said before, maybe the most realistic feeling texture I had reviewed from the ones available from Fleshlight. Just be aware of the "break-in" period / learning curve this texture has because the first few uses are frustrating.

As established in the captions, you can buy this toy from Fleshlight.com.

FYI: I barely used visual stimuli for these sessions. During the first two sessions I used "sleeping" / fake rape clips I downloaded from XVideos.com, then for the remaining three sessions I went with personal fantasies. Maybe I will share them here later or publish them at Literotica.com.

Next Stop: Spread Eagle SIAC (mini-Vortex).
